I think it looks good, but not for me. I think it's pretty cool to have someone else try something new like this! Leave the guy alone....If you don't like it don't buy it's plain and simple........Love this forum!

I think if the 2 inch square tubeing was changed to a round tube similar to Nissan's it would improve the overall look.

You know what, this isn't the first time I've had a problem with you smart @$$ comments and I'm sure it won't be the last. This guy has started 3 or 4 threads now about the same guard just to get impressions/ideas about the guard for his friends that want to produce it. If you read back over the last several posts, all we have done is try to come up with a way to improve it...as simply as possible too I might add. Next time, I'd suggest checking out the situation a little more before shooting your mouth (ok fine....fingers) off.

The point my friend here is trying to make is that there is a big difference between constructive criticism (goosemst), and just popping off. What would you do to make it more to your liking?

Join in on the spirit of the discussion or just quietly move a long. PLEASE. You'll make more friends in the long run.

You know what...I was in a pretty crappy mood when i made that post yesterday. Somehow, it set me off. Anyway, I wish Basstow would respond to some of the suggestions we've made in this thread. If they would make just a few minor changes to the current version of this guard, I think they might be able to spark some serious interest. It's come a long way up to this point. I hope thay don't give up.

It has been a little anticlimatic. I've been looking and have yet to see one that just knocks my socks off. If this was tweaked a little I could really see myself buying it. Oh well.

Do you have high blood pressure or something??? I think it's pretty cool someone was interested in making a new product for our trucks! We need more people like this. Yes I did read his past posts.......I think your getting carried away with things here. You can't make a product to please everone as you can see. Even the Titan has it's imperfections..but you still bought it.

Yeah, seriously I was just in a bad mood yesterday. Long crappy day. I agree and applaud this company for trying. I really wish they would take another stab at tweaking this last design and they may have something that many people will like. All joking aside, they've really come a loooooooooong way since that first prototype. I still would like to see one chromed just to give an idea what it would look like.

Now we're gettin somewhere. I've seen a lot of folks on here with front/rear bumpers and other accessories colormatched to their Titan but most of them a have Red Brawn/Red Alert, Smoke, or Galaxy Black Titans. I haven't seen a single person with Canteen, like me, with anything colormatched. Maybe it's cause there just aren't that many of us. Then again, the black powdercoat toolbox I just put on looks awfully good with the canteen. I would still like to see some Canteen colored accessories just to get an Idea.

Customer satisfaction is the goal...if some minor tweaks is all it will take to sell a few to user's on this forum then let's get the list started. I'm sure OIW can make the changes for a group buy of sorts. Let's keep the tweaks in two separate goups; 1)the center Grille guard section only, 2)the headlight extensions that wrap around. Thanks guys for your help!!! Any volunteers to help cut through the chaff to get the wheat? Then, I'll check on what can be 'tweaked' or what can't without extra cost. OK? Also, different painted finishes are available, this post features a textured metallic "graphite" finish.

Personally, I like the center section as is just fine. I think the headlight wrap-around is what needs the tweaking. So what does this thing cost as it is now anyway?

I've been watching this thread awhile now, check out the changes I made using MS Paint. Maybe this is more along the lines. I only changed one side of your pic. see what you think. Tell your friends to keep up the work. They should also look into developing a roof rack, there has been alot of talk about them here on TT.

Just for kicks, I mirrored the image you posted so that we could see the whole thing. It actually looks pretty good IMHO.
