Just purchased a left over new 04 Titan CC. Got rid of an 04 Chevy Silverado which I spent time doing various mods to. Anyway, one thing I have been looking for is a gauge overlay, abd I contacted several manufacturers about this. USSPEEDO (www.usspeedo.com) said they are working on a Stainless Steel gauge overlay and will have it ready in a few weeks. Thought some people would want to know this so they can start saving. I did this to my Chevy and got more compliments on that than just about anything else I did (and I did lots).
Love this forum!
Not at all...
But now that I read the post, I can see how you would think that. If you dont believe me, check out the items I had up for auction on E-Bay (do a search on completed items, typing in Hypertech 30022, look for crdenton and you'll see I'm selling my Chevy items, and I even mentioned my gauge kit)
I am just a new Titan owner anxious to start modding my CC. I've already got a lot of information from this site that has already helped me, and I thought I'd pass along some info that I just found out, nothing more than that.
But now that I think about it, what if I HAD been someone with USSPEEDO? One would think you would be glad to see some aftermarket companies coming out with Titan upgrades/mods. There were a jillion aftermarket companies selling Chevy and Ford stuff, I've found very few aftermarket people selling Titan stuff.
And before you get suspicious, I'm in the Dallas Texas area, I think USSPEEDO is in Michigan.
Now I'm waiting for a Hypertech Power Programmer for this beast!
I think you may be jumping to conclusions about whether or not I am suspicious. Possibily in the same way I may have jumped to a conclusion about your first post. My apologies. I just thought it was strange for a first post and simply asked a question. Thank you for your response and welcome to the forum.

I looked and don't like. Well, not the ones I saw.
Reasons:
Colors did not stand out very much. In case of stainless, you had a hard time seeing the numbers. Colored ones didn't have strong contrast either. I want my gauge to have a very strong contrast between back color and number.
Also, the gauge face had US Speedo written boldly on it. I want it to look stock, not like a billboard for the maker.
Remove the logo, make a white with black numbers or red with white numbers, etc. and I might be interested.

A few weeks???? Cooooolllllll.....I contacted them several weeks ago and they said it would be a few months. I was wanting white. Thats one of the things I like about the F-150 Lariat interia. How is the install????
Thanks for the info
I wanted white too, especially since my truck is white. And I also don't like the company logo on the face of the gauge. I have seen some other companies gauge overlays, and I actually liked them a bit better (NRAUTO), but I also contacted them and they said they had no plans on doing anything for the Titan as of now. They said if they get enough interest, they would revisit it. This is going to be tough for me because I like to add my own touches to my vehicles, and since I have been a Chevy man most of my driving years (well, I USED to be a Chevy man), I am used to having lots of things to chose from. I'm hoping more will come for the Titan!
As far as the install goes, I have no idea, again I'm net to Nissan Titan's. My chevy was easy, the dash panel just snapped off, but I don't know if my Titan will be that way or not. I have already made friends with one of the mechanics up there (thanks for the free differential oil change, brake job and 05 differential cover at 400 miles) and he told me he would "help me" install fog lights and the gauge overlay. Sometimes if you "grease their hands a bit", they are more than willing to help you out. We'll see how it goes.
I plan on going back to USSPEEDO and see if they can do white, and also get rid of their logo. They don't have the Nissan stuff up there yet, so I am only assuming it will be similiar to what they have for the other vehicles like Chevy, Ford, etc.
