At the risk of getting flamed, I did a search for both of these covers but didnt find the info I needed.
I have pretty much decided to get either the Truxedo Lo Profile or the Extang Roll Top Low Profile bed cover. It seems like the Extang is a little cheaper, but can any of you wise souls tell me the major differences between the two. Do they both aklow you to use the utility track?, Installation harder on one than the other?, etc. . .
Any reccomendations? Much thanks in advance!

While I never had neither, I can fill you in what I've seen and took notice to. The Extang's velcro is flat on the rail, it's not on a beveled surface. I was told by an installer who sold Extang and Access, that the Extang leaks big time. He should know, as he just installed it on his own truck and was going to be swapping it out for an Access. Access is a much more expensive cover.
I looked at the Truxedos, original and low profile. The original's velcro is on a straight up and down rail, so water couldn't get past the velcro edge. The low profile is not straight up and down but beveled at an angle as the Tonneau Master rolling cover and Access Rolling covers are. However I noticed an open spot toward the front header that would let water in. The front header has a rubber strip but there are open areas in the corners between these rubber strips and the cover's material flap.
I personally would only consider two covers, the Tonneau Master rolling cover which I've bought and am having installed Tuesday or the Access rolling cover which I really considered. I didn't choose the Access because I've read some owners have leaks plus the cover is about $100 more than the Tonneau Master. I felt the Tonneau Master is better built and I've only read and heard praises for it. I know several who own Tonneau Masters brand and have had absolutely "NO WATER LEAKS" what so ever. So my choice went with the proven maker.
Don't think my choices answered your question, but I've been researching covers for several months since I returned the Nissan OEM cover because it had warped rails and the stitching ripped out of the tarp, leaving a small hole.
I have never had any water leaks on the Truxedo low profile
cover. Some have had leaks on the tailgate end but that is
probably due to not closing the tailgate prior to snaping the
cover down. Doing this allows the weatherstrip to lay on top of
the tailgate rather than inside it. If you replace the clamps that
come with the Truxedo with screws, you can use the accessories
but need to modify the bed extender if you want it to pivot. If you
use the clamps the movement of the accessories is limited to
the distance between clamps.
I'm going with the Tekstyle Profile cover. Looks pretty good. And I have good things about them.

I'm leaning toward the Truxedo because it is less expensive but, like the Access cover, also has a lifetime warranty.
I'm not too concerned about water leakage as long as there isnt a lot of it, but Iwant it to be durable, easy to use, and, last but not least, look good.

Just to clarify, the Truxedo Lo-Profile cover does have the vertical (straight up and down rail) velcro. It is not beveled like the Access Cover. I have this cover and have no problems whatsoever.

I bought a Torza that's all 1 piece. it's like a soft top Kcover. uses only 4 clamps and utilitrack. the bed extender needs to be set back about 6 inches from the tailgate though.

Perhaps the above review is a bit biased, I don’t know.
FWIW. I have had the Truxedo for nearly a year, to be fair it’s the only cover I’m familiar with but it’s served me well. I frequently need to use my bed so I roll & un-rolled this top frequently & all the materials are holding up. The cover is not water proof but water resistant, a slight bit of water may be found near the tailgate but w/a slight bit of modifying I think this could be eliminated but it’s not a problem for me. It is a soft top so some flutter, but no noise unless I keep the back window open & it’s still very slight.
Here are some of my observations.
+’s
Good design, implementation & durability.
Looks very good, looks new a year later.
Easy to roll up, roll down & clip.
Very easy installation.
No adjustments needed so far, very tight clean fit.
The minuses.
The utility track bed extender become a slight issue, perhaps other rail functions would be an issue?
You will loose “I’m guessing here” about 1 ½ per side beyond the utility track rails along the bed & about 2 ½ in the front. When loading a pallet of sod, it’s close. I use 4 Yakima lock blocks in the front & had to extend the blocks for forks to clear but it was no big deal.
Just to clarify, the Truxedo Lo-Profile cover does have the vertical (straight up and down rail) velcro. It is not beveled like the Access Cover. I have this cover and have no problems whatsoever.
The velcro rail on my KC Truxedo lo-profile is beveled about 30 degrees
and not vertical. Must be a difference for the CC?
I wouldn't read to much into that information as much of it is bogus and biased. Obviously, since it's coming from their competitor.
The Tonneau Master rolling cover has been redesigned and doesn't have any of the problems their "COMPETITOR", is saying.
IMO, the Tonneau Master was well built. I felt the Truxedos were cheaply built but they obviously hold up by owners accounts here. I really can't see how water is kept out with the large holes in the front 2 corners. There's not even a beveled edge on the rail to roll water out, it's just flat, inviting water to come in.
