I'm thinking about getting a tonneau cover for my Smoke Titan KC. I like the UnderCover textured plastic ABS lids, but they only seem make them for the crew cabs right now.
I prefer something that's molded in textured plastic because it would be easier to maintain than a painted fiberglass cover. However, since nobody seems to make a molded-in-color plastic lid for the KC Titan yet, a fiberglass painted lid seems to be the only option right now. The Gaylord, Leer, and SnugTop tonneau covers all seem to be very similar in appearance, design and function. The ARE LSII seems to be the only one with a rather unique design.
Out of all the fiberglass/plastic tonneau covers that are available for the Titan KC, are there any that standout as an exceptional value? Or, are they all pretty much the same? How about paint durability? My truck sits outside most of the time and I don't want a painted cover to be prematurely fading on me. My uncle had a truck with a painted SnugTop shell on it and the paint started fading and peeling after about 2-years.
I welcome any suggestions and/or recommendations on which fiberglass cover to get. Pics would be helpful as well if you have any. Thanks
