Hellwig Helper Springs

I'm the FNG on this net, but have been reading for about a month. I have a 2005 CC LE 2-wheel drive with a Leer top, Smoke color. I decided that I wanted the helper springs, so I called my local auto parts stores for price checks. The lowest was $221.00 so I went to http://www.suspensionconnection.com/ and got them shipped to my door for $170.00 Installation took me a couple hours, and the net result was my rear fender raised up about an inch. I'll go back in a day or so and readjust the springs for a little more slack.

I also installed some 55w runnings lights for use all the time, with or without headlights. The lights are made by PILOT and have a wireless remote control, which really simplified the installation, not having to wire in a switch. Next week, I'll change the hot wire from the battery, to going thru a hot ignition wire and a relay. Then I can remotely turn the running lights on whenever I feel I need them, and they will remain on for the duration of the drive, or until I manually switch them off with the remote. $50.00 and an hour of my time.
