How about some additional clarification, also... Unless you have the electronic locking diff., I assume you have an open differencial. Like in my case I have Crew Cab LE 4x4 with Big Tow. So that means I have open differentials, right?

I would also imagine it is possible to add limited slip without much trouble. You would need to keep the ratio the same 3.36? So the speedo is correct. Probably cost around $350 based on similar experience with Ford F150. I personally would like to have limited slip diff, myself. Keep us posted on anything you find.

Don't think you will find a true limited slip to fit the Titan.

Regardless of which gear ratio you have you can add any sort of locker style . with more info I would suggest certain ideas like if you just want a little extra traction for launching a boat and not for any thing else get an air locker if you want traction for driving in snow on a regular basis you cant beat 4x4 but you could get a power lock ( my fav for heavy off road use ).
check out this link this may help you

An air locker will be big bucks - an ARB will run you close to $1000 by the time you get everything installed. I think smokespeedtitan is looking for a limited slip, such as a Tru-Trac, which, by the way, is a very good limited slip. The Tru-Tracs are about $350 and most places get about $200 for installation. But at this time I don't think Tru-Trac or anyone for that matter makes a limited slip diff for the Titan. Give it a little more time and I'm sure someone will have one available soon. Good luck!

Thumbs up

if i had a 2wd and rear diff problems, and more cash than brains id go to a salvage yard and buy a F-150 rear end... with 3L55 gears and have it installed at a 4wd place.

Ford makes a nice locking rear diff !
