Who makes one for the Titan? And which is the better brand? Lund, Ventshade (AVS), Stampede, Wade....???
I liked Flfinfan's low profile bugshield but he said his was a Lund. Lund does make a low pro bugshield (called the Avenger series), but they don't make it for the Titan, I checked. He said his was clear and he color match painted it. It looks good, but I don't think they make the Avenger in clear and I am 99% sure they don't make it for the Titan....unless Lund made one special just for him. The 2005 Lund catalog doesn't show it for the Titan.
Anyone have one? Any pics?
thanks

Sorry it's not a better picture. It was right after I hit an owl. And yes it was still solid even with that big chunk missing.
Also, you might want to check out the members Photo Gallery. There are quite a few members that have pictures of them there. Just send a PM to someone if the you want to know the details from their picture.

Here's the Nissan OEM bug guard:
I don't like the lund color matched guards. There's a couple of trucks at work with them, and I just don't like them. I like the smoke look and it matches the rain guards I have.
There's some more pictures of the truck HERE , so you can look at the guard at a few angles.
All your bugshields look great. However, I am looking for a low profile one. The OEM and the Lund "Intercepter" both have that lip that flips up at the very top of the shield. This is so rocks will deflect over the windshield to protect it.
A low profile one does not turn up at the top of the shield, it stays parallel to the lines of the hood. I like the look of that better, but thats just my opinion of course. The downside of the low-pro one is that they will protect the hood only, it will not protect the windshield.
Lund makes a low-pro one called the "Avenger" as opposed to the "Intercepter"...however, they dont make one for the Titan
Stampede, I think, makes one that they call low profile
AutoVentShade (AVS) makes a low-pro one as well. I think its called "Hoodflecter". I am not sure about AVS's quality though.....
I just realized that I am going to be 35 yrs old in a couple months and I am putting way to much thought into the purchase of a dumb bug shield. Is there something wrong with me?? I mean,.....it's a friggin' bug shield, man........hahahaha....help me

I hear ya. I just turned 35 last month and I still feel like a kid. Hek, just went to the Motley Crue Concert at Rosemont (All State Arena) and I was just as pleased with the babes flashing as I was in highschool. It's hard to carry on a conversation with a babe next to you when she's showing what's under that tank top.
Crue rocks! The very first cassete I EVER bought was "Shout at the Devil"...awesome

Ventshade (AVS) is made by Lund so the quality should be fine. Actually, my Bugflector II is an AVS and it had Lund marketing material in the box. Picked it up at Advance Auto Parts for about $35-40. The Hoodflector is just a low profile version of the Bugflector as seen here : http://accessory-center.com/prod.plx...FROOGLEZ01E000 .
Don't know if this helps but I thought I'd toss it out there for ya anyway.
Man, I really like the Wade(being real low profile). Would you mind telling us the price and where you got it?
Thanks
I gave about $115 for both the bugshield and the in-channel vent shades. I think the bugshield was $59. The part no. is 29130 for the smoke and 29129 for the clear. My local accessory dealer (KY) ordered it for me. They have this huge catalog of different things you can buy. It has 1150 pages of accessories for trucks.
I did have one problem, the vent shades were shipped with only the two front window pieces and the cab pieces were not in the box. I am sending them back to get the 4 piece set. The box said 4 pieces but when I opened it, there were only 2.
The bugshield looks pretty good, but the installation is kind of a joke. 2 screws and rubber washers that fit into the holes under the hood and double sided tape. After you close the hood, you don't have to worry about it though. I think it looks pretty good.
