Has anyone had any problems with the tire preasure light coming on after upgrading there tires and rims? I'm looking at upgrading my rims and tires from 18's to 20's. I didn't know if this would be an issue or not.

When you guys change rims on the Titan are you just pulling out the sensors from the stock rims and placing them on the new rims? Are the tire pressure sensors in the Titan in the valve steams?
yes, they are incorporated into the rim's valve. It looks like a little grey cube inside the wheel.
Some people switch to the new rim, some people just sell them to someone else. If you dump them, the receiver under the body of the truck will look for a signal for about forty-five minutes and then finally give up and turn on the low-pressure-light without the audible alarm. I got rid of my tire-press sensors in January and have only had the light come on about three times. BTW the light resets by turning the key to off.

Hey Vegas04,
Is it a pain to switch the sensor from one rim to the other? Or do I I need to take it to the dealership to have it done once I get my new rims and tires?

your new wheels will need to be able to accept the oem sensors. since the stem and sensor is a single unit, the bottom of it is (fairly) flat. therefore, your wheels must have a flat spot right behind the valve stem opening or it will not mount properly.

Haven't had a problem with mine except when I first got them I had to change the rubber grommet on a couple to stop the leak I had. All is good since, about 5,000 to 6,00 miles so far.
