Backup lights

Just finished backup light install.......

Looks good. How bright are they?

Just a thought. You should drill small holes in the hitch behind the lights and run the wires through them. It would help clean the look up, make 'em look more "stock".

Doh I should have thought of that. ...thanks...
They're a 55 watt driving light, I have'nt had a chance to adjust them, plan on doin it tonight, I'll let ya know........

I needed em last thur/friday at our cook off, backin up our pit in the dark was a mother.........roger that on the night time pics....

Ditto on the night pics. Also, did you wire them to the regular backup lights (w/ relay, heavier fuse, or...?) or to a separate switch?

No wired to a seperate switch, I'll post pics after I feed my face.

I installed some similar backup lights, and wired them to the stock backup light wiring. Remove the tail light assembly and tap into the backup light wiring.
The backup light wiring perhaps is not really designed to handle the extra draw of two 55w lights, but I figure they're only on for short periods of time.
I've had mine installed for several months, with no problem.

Absolutely....with the included relay to get a signal from the back-up lights but power comes from a fused supply from the battery. Actually I spliced into the yellow and orange back up wire in the tow harness wire loom and not the tail lights...that was closer and easy to splice.
