If they were louder than the horns on my '62 Ford Galaxie, then they must have been something. My buddy and I used to drive through Town and hit my horn right when we pulled along side some unsuspecting pedestrian. Generally, the pedestrian would nearly jump out of their shoes from fright and then give us the "No. 1" sign when they realized what we had done.
