SickWhip - for the 'whole kit' I meant the hitch, relays, big tow mirrors, etc. (not the gearing)

steves - I plan to DIY.

Off topic alert!
Also plan to DIY the exhaust... Just can't decide on Borla, Banks, or have a local guy weld in a magnaflow.

Borla and Banks I can DIY w/ help from bro-in-law and his lift. But they're pricey.

The local guy who does the magnaflow will charge me less than $200, new pipe from the muffler back and will do dual turn downs for that price as well.

Just trying to research the differences in breathing vs. the borla and banks.

In that case, it can't hurt to see if the dealer will sell you one over the coutner at a resonable price. Just tell them you know the uhaul is $137 and your websites forum sponsers sell the relays for x (whatever it is) and see what they'll do. You might need to talk to the service manager tho.

With the exhaust, are you going for just a nice sound, or do you want the power too? You won't get much gain without removing the stock y pipe. And about the "Little Tow Package", I plan on doing the same. But will probably buy most of it online. Including the Nissan Hitch. With those parts add you have a 7,400 lb tow ability. Hence "Little Tow Package".

The Valley hitch I got is a tube-type and it has 10,000/1000# capacity where most of the others are only 7500/750# - including the Nissan that you buy over the counter. Just FYI.

Oh, I was thinking you were saying you were still considering purchasing. Whoops. Yeah, well, anyways, those tow mirrors are great though, I would still be interested to hear what they would say at the Nissan dealer for them + install would cost. I have a good feeling they'll be cheaper.

SickWhip - The 'little tow' package is probably what I'm going for... Not that I'll use the capability much... Everything I will do is probably sub-3000lb. but its nice to have the ability.

Also, thanks for the tip on needing to replace the y-pipe. The 'main' thing I'm going for with an exhaust upgrade is increased fuel economy and a bit of power. If there is an upgrade in sound, then thats cool too, but I really don't want anything obnoxious.

Some here with the exhaust. I hope to add the Nissan stuff by the end of the summer but who knows. We move into our new house begining of July. I probably won't have much extra money for a while.

I have an aftermarket hitch. I also like the cleaner lines of not haveing the plug mount. I mounted my plug into the bumper itself. Between the liscense plate and the plate light on the left.

Ditto...

I purchased the factory hitch kit from my dealer (they matched the price from www.nissanparts247.com) and discovered that the relays were already installed in my early production 2004 Titan.
