Do the wind deflectors help stop seat belt fluttering?

I have posted this question along in other threads but have yet to get a reply so I had to ask directly.

When my passenger window is all the way down my seat belt flutters at moderate speeds. It drives me freaking crazy and I have to raise the window about 3 inches to stop it. Others have expressed the same complaint including mild scuffing to the trim. I personally don't care for the wind deflectors but would be willing to buy if they stop the fluttering. Anyone out there have any experience with this? The seat belt pad idea didn't eliminate it.

Thanks.

Thumbs down Minimizes but does not completely stop the flutter.

Minimizes but does not completely stop the flutter or at least that is the case with the Wade in channel deflector. Doesn't help much as a rain drip either unless you keep the window up behind the deflector.

No !
I didn't see any difference after installing the Weathertech in-channel deflectors.

I have had the same problem in many trucks. Only method I found was to simply buckle the belt and forget it.

Window visor stopping buckle rattling?

I recommend that you open your rear window as that will stop the air from "swirling" in your cab.

Another option is to buy seatbelt holders/pads that will prevent rubbing.

I've also noticed that lowering the adjustment all the way down where the top of the seatbelt attaches to the truck helps with the fluttering. Otherwise I just put the window up 3 inches or open the back window. I'm waiting on some window vent visors to be delivered and was hoping that they would help this problem and the rain drip, but it looks like I should have asked around here before doing that.

Me too...

I have the belt lowered all the way, most of the time I'm in the truck the rear window is down, and still flap, flap, flap. Now I just have the belt buckled in.
