Power windows for Titan XE

I'd like to put in a power window kit on my Titan XE. I've seeing universal kits for around $120.00, is this a good buy? Does anybody know if there's an OEM power window kit? Thanks in advance.

I put power windows in my XE. I purchased a SPAL deluxe window kit with matching 3 way switch kit with amber illuminations. I dont think that there is an OEM kit available. Besides I hear some users are having problems with OEM anyway. If you go to the link in my sig, on page 2 you can see some pictures of the power window and door lock install I did in my pickup.

Nice work!

Thank you for your reply; Was this an easy project. The kit is inexpensive so I'm thinking on jumping on it myself. Let me know if you have any advise. Thanks!

First thing I bought for my xe was the power window and door lock kit with keyless entry. Sorry I don't have pictures unless I take off the door panels.

I have a XE and it came with power windows and locks. Just no Keyless. I added that for another 100 at best buy and works just like oem. I would check for part numbers and order atleast the switches to keep it stock looking.

Hey Chris - I have the SPAL kit too, but had it installed at a stereo place. Mine blew a fuse once, (one fuse for both windows) and I was suprised to see it was rated at 25 amps. What size fuse did you use?

I am thinking about the SPAL deluxe kit too.. It looks like a good product. Just don't know where to get it installed... Gotta look around...

Chris - what did you use to plug the window crank hole inside the door panel with? I have an alarm with keyless entry, but I'd like to get the power window feature as well. Is it hard to put in?

All XE CC's have pwr windows/locks, but XE KC's have neither. Also, the oem pwr window switch assemblies will not work with aftermarket kits because they have their own integral micro-computer for controlling the auto up/dn and window safety features.

Here are a couple of pictures of the switches on my doors. I also have caps over the window cranks.

I am pretty sure if you have power locks, you have keyless. By the way I have a CC XE and it has it.

*sniff* *sniff*... It's true.. KC XE doesn't come with power windows/locks. But I finally found a place for the installation.. AFter checking around a couple places, I finally called SPAL inc and they gave me a list of their customers(companys who buy from them) in MN.

One of them actually did installations, the others were retailers.. Guy on the phone quoted me $439.50 for power windows & switch. and $449.50 for Power Windows, Locks and switchs.. heck I'm gonna go with the 2nd option.

Just gotta save some cash and i'll be good to go..

After doing my locks and windows that is a great deal. I would have paid another $100 to do the locks- $10 is a steal!

Hey WazzuCoug - how about telling us how you installed the SPAL power windows in your truck? You know....for those of us that want to save the $400+ instead of having a shop do it.
