Slider Steps

HEY EVERYONE! talked to my friend mike@sin city iron last week and told him that titan owners were pm me about my sliders. I was trying to get him to do a group buy. but i know on past group buys i was not able to come up with the cash in allotted time frame. So i asked him a good price for titan owners if they were to buy in a 4week period. he said yes, cool! he said that he would build anyone a set of tube style rock slider steps that would bolt on factory holes for $325 bucks if you purchace before july 15.

checkout pics at www.sincityiron.com

What do they look like and what size are they? Are they like the ones you have on? How strong are they? Will they be strong enough to lift the truck up with them? Could you get some closer pics of the ones he is setting up?

I am waiting on the sliders from shrockworks and they are to be out soon. Pretty good size and bolts on too. They are more of a stright bar style. I don't have a price from them yet either.

Cool Fridge. I PM'd you about how big they are. From the pic on their website, it looks as if they only cover near the doors and don't extend all the way to the wheel wells. How much space is there between the end of the sliders and the front and rear wheel wells?

they cover the width of the doors. they're pretty strong. i've used my hi=lift jack on them so i could plug a nail puncture on the trail. the'yre about 12" from each tire. i like the shrockworks ones also but i know that xterra ones are almost $400. btw i've banged them a bit in a rock quarry. only scratched the paint but that's ok cuz i plan to spray liner them. i'll try and see if i can get my camera working to take some closer pics but it's been shutting off on it's own. might have to take in to get serviced.

Thats looks good on your truck. I wasn't sure if that was yours when I looked first time around. I think I will hold out for one that runs the full length of the truck though. Thanks for the hook up with them though.

if you want them longer, it shouln't be any problem. price should still be cheaper than getting a daystar tube steps.
