Anyone have them or have opinions of them? Any pics. I was looking at the chrome tailgate accent pieces on ebay and some of them offer the tail covers along with the tail gate accent as a package deal. I know some of you like the tailgate pieces and others just do NOT like them and think they are cheap looking. I myself cannot decide on the tailgate piece. But the taillight covers might not look so bad. Maybe??
These are the plastic covers and are held on with Double faced tape...about $65
These are polished stainless steel tail light guards (not sure how they are attached)...about $130

From this one pic it seems the taillight trim looks much more added-on, where as the tailgate trim looks very OEMish.

I agree. I have the tailgate trim and it looks like it was put on at the factory.
I agree also....but what about the taillight trim. I know it looks "added on"...but is it a GOOD add-on or a BAD add-on??

I am almost completely chromed out. I have a stainless bug shield, chrome grill insert, bull bar and tailgate trim. IMO the tail light trim didn't appeal to me. Sorry I'm not much help.
I think the stainless piece looks more functional. I had a similar piece on a Land Cruiser and although I forget exactly how it installed I do remember it was an easy install.
I really like the tailgate piece, first time I saw one of them on a Titan I thought, 'that's what it needed to look finished.'
I have the second set (s/s tail light covers) and I love em. Took me 10 min to install and they look great. They really dont serve any purpose, but I like em anyway
They basically attach using two bolts and a supporting bracket. The brackets weren't a direct bolt on since I had to rebend them to make em fit just right, but all and all it was a sinch to put on and have no regrets.
I have them and the tailgate chrome as well! I see Titan's now without the add-ons and it really looks like they are missing something. Install is a breeze.

i think there is already enough chrome on the truck with the way it comes from the factory. i think you need something in the front if you go with the brush guards in the rear. i would probably color match (or black it out to contrast) the other choice if i had a XE model; in fact, i had been thinking about it but again, need something for the front.

I think the protectors in black would look pretty good on my white.
