How many different brands of bug deflectors are there out there for our pickup? Which is the best deal? Got a picture of the one you like the best? I am interested in this mod after seeing all my rock chips while waxing yesterday. Help me make my decision! Thanks,
I'm not sure how many different kinds of bug deflectors exist for the Titan....probably many. However, I purchased an OEM deflector and installed it this week on my '05, and am very happy with it.

I've got a Lund plastic one right now. I think it flexes too much at highway speeds. My plan is to replace it with a stainless steel deflector painted to match.
I've got the Lund Stainless Interceptor and love it.

I did the same thing once I noticed the chips on the paint. I purchased the OEM one from the dealer for $60 and installed it fairly easily. Looks really nice and highly recommend it. Check the Nissan webiste for pics.

I've always installed bug shields for looks, and to protect the front of the hood, but does anybody feel that they actually deflect bugs up and away from the windshield as they say they do?

Yep, that's the OEM. Goes on easy, uses tape to protect your hood and grill, clips to edge of hood and uses 5 screws to hold in place. Easy to install and remove. Had it for a year now and it does its job with no problems.
Got any specific questions, just ask.

Thanks Lon,
I actually looked at yours at the meet, so I have a real good idea of what it looks like now. I dont care much for the exposed screws, but as long as it works well I think this is the one I will probobaly go with.
