Is there anything you shouldn't use on Chrome wheels? I am getting new wheels today and I'm not sure of the best and more importantly easiest way to clean them.

For the least dulling with chrome wheels you should use soap and water. From my experience that has worked fine for the 5,000 miles my dad has had his HREs. Perhaps once a month or when they get really dirty you should use the Eagle spray cleaner and Mother's Chrome polish if they get dull.

I agree with vyrus, I would use something mild like car wash and maybe for tough spots simple green, my experience is that with chrome the plastic center caps tend to be affected most by wheel cleaners. Also make sure to keep some good chrome polish on hand!!!
