Truxedo Problem

Anyone else seen this?

I installed the cover in Feb this year, so it's not that old. I'll be calling Truxedo today to see if they cover it.

Truxedo

I bought mine from Truckmod.com and am overall very happy with the service and response emailing messages to Dave. I recommend Truckmod.com to any other Titan owners who are looking for a good Tonneau Cover. I'll look for seal problems later down the road but so far no problems. I've only had it on three days, so a long way to go to see if there are any future problems.

Truxedo - Titan - Do you need to drill holes?

Do you need to drill holes to add the Truxedo Lo Profile to a TItan with Utility Track?

Any other advice on covers? I've heard access Larado is goot too and Tarza tri-fold.

I just don't want to drill. Also I don't mind if I can't use the track while the cover is completely sealed. I just want to be able to use it when the cover is open and not have it be a hastle.

Any advice?

No, you don't need to drill. Both our trucks have UT, so I'm not just guessing at this. Shurco (the manufacturer) provides some of the finest customer service I've ever experienced. They produced one of the very first covers that worked with UT (in March '04).
Spray on and rub in some 303 every few weeks to keep it looking like new.
This is a superb cover from an extraordinary company.
Jamie at Marlboro Nissan (TitanParts247.com, one of our sponsors) sells these at a very competitive price. Click on the link here at TT and scroll down the page of Titan Accessories. The LoPro is about 3/4 of the way down the page.

I went with the regular Truxedo because I wanted a little more room under the cover. It went on like a charm and works with the bed extender with no problems. The seal on the low profile one seem a little wider than mine which may cause it to wear a little faster. It is great to hear that Truxedo stands behind its product. I would definately buy this cover again. I was at the car wash and saw several other covers let a lot of water into the bed.

I am having a similar problem with the rubber seal on my Truxedo. I just spoke with the company and they are sending a new seal next week. The person I spoke with mentioned they changed the construction of that part beacuse they are getting a lot of calls about it coming apart.

If you're seeing this problem call them and let them know.
