Talking Westin 3" stainles Bull bar

Any one installed a Westin 3" stainless bull bar on a 05 titan?

I read that you need to remove your front skid plate and tow hooks
and there not replaced back on truck. Is this true, or am I reading the install instructions incorrectly. The tow hooks I could go without but the skid plate have saved my oil pan many times from rock dents.

Thanks in advance

Tow hooks yes, skid plate no. I just spaced the Westin skid a half inch off the Titan's skid. No problem, you will need to replace the Westin's bottom screws with longer ones to pass through the spacer. No rattles, no problems.

Dang, I wanted one of these but I love my towhooks, makes it so easy to pull something real quick with my truck.

Anything similar to this that lets you keep the hooks?

Ditto. I almost ordered the bull bar last week. Glad I didn't have the time to do it.
