painted upper grill

i have seen some se and le titans with the upper grill to match the rest of the body paint leaving the lower bumper chrome. does anyone know where to get these grills? or do you have to buy them from nissan and have them painted. thanks for the info

I traded mine with a member on this forum. $60 shipped to Florida for the trade.

Does this thread really belong in the "performance" section???

Supposedly painted upper grill add more HP. Is'nt that why you traded yours?

I guess to answer your origional question, the XE's come with color matching grills. Therefore you can buy an XE grill from nissan if you choose, or search ebay. They occasionally have one on there. I would bet many members here still have their origional grills since many people (myself included) have swapped grills for aftermarket billet peices.

Now I know why my Armada SE Offroad 4x4 (can you say heavy?), is as fast and quick as some of the light 4x2 Titan KC's - its the performance enhancing abilities of my painted upper grill.

All kidding aside, the Armada SE's have the painted upper grill. The colors are the same as used in Titan. I suppose you can order one from Nissan.

At one time I thought about trading mine on-line with another member here to get a chrome one, but changed my mind. There may be guys right here who would like your chrome if you let them know what color you need.
