Angry Where is NISMO?

OK. Didn't know if this belonged in Performance or Parts, but I would like to know the following:

Where the hell is NISMO with anything for the Titan? Does anyone have any info? I had to take out my Airhog when I took the truck in for service (my dealer frowns upon them and threatens void!), and I am hesitant to put it back in. As I heard, if we use NISMO parts, we wouldn't need to worry about the warranty.

I want my NISMO parts, darnit!

No dealer can void your warranty cause of aftermarket parts, unless something goes wrong with your truck and the direct result of it was fault of the aftermarket part. Unless they can prove that a aftermarket part cause the problem they cant void warranty. Its the a law, i believe its called the Magnusons law , (i think i mispelled it). They have no right to void warranty unless otherwise caused problems in direct result of the aftermarket part.

Federal Warranty Laws

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))

This federal law regulates warranties for the protection of consumers. The essence of this law concerning aftermarket auto parts is that a vehicle manufacturer may not condition a written or implied warranty on the consumers using parts or services which are identified by brand, trade, or corporate name (such as the vehicle makers brand) unless the parts or service are provided free of charge. The law means that the use of an aftermarket part alone is not cause for denying the warranty. However, the law's protection does not extend to aftermarket parts in situations where such parts actually caused the damage being claimed under the warranty. Further, consumers are advised to be aware of any specific terms or conditions stated in the warranty which may result in its being voided. The law states in relevant part:

“No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name....” (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

I would really doubt that a dealership would not service your vehicle due to a AirHog filter.... That would be very pointless for them to act that way.
However, to address the nismo issue:
Nismo is in the works to release parts for the Titans, but I do not have any info as to when or what parts. There are nismo parts for other cars such as 350z or sentra, that are still able to void a warranty. We have S-tune and R tune parts; S tune are usually warranty-able, while R tune parts "may" void a warranty, and thes include things such as camshafts etc...
Warranties are such a touch subject, no matter what, the part must be directly responsible or contributing to the issue to void a warranty.
