Question Rear Floor Storage Bin Question - 05 CC

I was briefly shown the storage bin under the rear seat of the 05 Titan SE crew cab. I wound up getting the XE which does not have one. Does anyone here know for sure if that factory storage bin would fit and can be secured in the XE? I would assume it would fit but I wonder How it is secured in the SE, extra factory installed brackets or clips?

As long as you have a CC and buy the CC rear storage bin, you should not have a problem securing it. It attaches to one of the brackets that the seat is attached to. I have the rear storage for my CC Titan and love it.

The latest 2005 Bass Pro Shop Master Hunting Catalog lists under seat storage bins, made by Du-Ha, that will fit your truck for $159.00. The second link is to the manufactures site that shows how the bin is secured in the Titan.

160.00 for a plastic bin? I think its incredibly useful but definitely overpriced.

Look on ebay for underseat storage. They are on there but still bout $160 with shipping. Not sure if the above includes shipping. Courtesyparts. com has them as well for $109 but the shape is different. They won't hold a gun.

Thanks for the excellent info. I will order one of them online as soon as I can. I like avoiding the dealership at all costs. Bayou Titan, I like the your underseat hardware with the lovely brown stock!

Titanparts247.com had the OEM underseat storage for $92 + shipping.

The OEM one's not bad. The dealership had added one to my XE when they brought it on the lot, and I've found it pretty useful for the tools I keep in my truck. The bass pro one Bayou shows looks a bit better than the OEM. Mine has netting for the front of the outside seats' boxes, which is fine b/c I try to keep skrewdrivers and stuff in pouches, but if you want them to roam free in the box be warned...

For the price difference I like the one from Bass Pro better.

Thanks Bayou!

I googled that DuHa box - I found it for $150 in one place but they wanted $30 shipping. BassPro wants $13 shipping, so looks like they're the best place to buy one.

/order.

I love these bins, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to make my own this winter out of 1/4" birch plywood. I have the 40% seat behind me up almost all of the time, so I want an under-seat tote that only goes under the 60% seat section...

gchu, thanks again for the info. I got off the phone about 45 minutes ago with Titanparts247.com I spoke with Jaime and this guy is dynomite! He honored that original $92 price and I also ordered the AVS VENT SHADES for all 4 doors at $74.35. The AVS are actually made by LUND. With only $10 shipping to boot I am pretty happy.
