Wilwood brake Kit for Titan

Well i was reading my buddys streettruck mag and read a "how to" article on installing wilwoods new 6-piston brake kit for the titan. I went to their website and the kit is not listed , so i am asumming its pretty new. Maybe there waiting to introduce it at sema? Anyway for those of you that dont feel like going and getting the mag , the rotors are 16"! and it has a pretty red 6 piston caliper.

Wilwood

Wilwood makes some really nice brakes, but they are also really expensive.

Several months ago I spoke with a rep at Wilwood and was told that the disk brake package you are referring to would be in the neighborhood of $3000.00 an axle. So all four wheels would run you over $6000.00!!!

There have to be less expensive packages available.

Plus you are going to need bigger wheels.

Re: Wilwood brake Kit for Titan

I've considered doing this kit. And adding it to my current line of kits.

Being a Titan owner I can of course do the mock ups here but I'd be very interested in speaking to someone (if there is someone) who wants one on the truck. We'll start with the front and move to the rear in due time.

Anyone interested please get in touch with me and we'll discuss the options.

Re: Wilwood brake Kit for Titan

Here are a couple pics of the mock-up. I will have something "real" by weeks end. I posted these the other day, but here they are again. These are designed to fit in a 17" wheel and are a 4 piston caliper. These are a complete new 2" hollow spindle and billet hub, these are pretty much full-on racer car parts and will use 5 on 5.5 lug pattern to match most ford 9" axle patterens. These are going on my race truck (a titan) but ther emay be a few interested in such a conversion. Im not sure ont he price yet, but figure around $1500-2000 for everythimg.
