AVS Vent Visors

are POS. Anyone using anything other than AVS? Waited a month and half for some jerk off ebay seller to finally send it to me and it don't fit to good, windows keep hitting it and coming back down.

I just installed my WeatherTech side window deflectors last week and I really like them. The in-channel design really makes for a cleaner look. They were a little harder to install then I expected, I kept thinking I was gonna break them, but I finally got them on with out breaking them. I did have the problem of the window coming back down on the first couple of trys, but after that I pushed in on the window as it went up and they finally seated.

baseballfanz, I also ordered the AVS VENT SHADES for all 4 doors at $74.35 online and should be getting them this week. I guess you ordered the 4 in channel ones? I ordered the in channel also. It may be too late to change to the stick on outer ones.

Yes it's in channel. It's OK now I took it off and trimmed it a little, now it goes up OK.

baseballfanz, Thanks for the info. I will have a box cutter at the ready in case some trimming is in order.

I have the AVS in channel and I love 'em. You just need to be careful you dont reverse them installing or they will hit. It is hard to tell the back left from back right without looking close. You also need to clean the inside of the sill very well. I used paper towels with rubbing alcohol instead of the tiny pad they give you. Be sure you have the tab on the right side of the weatherstrip. Good luck with them.

All is good now, I was having problems with the fronts, the rear was no problems at all. Thanks for the input.
