Are the BT mirrors and regular mirrors interchangeable? Do I need to pay attention to options such as heat or is there a common plug? Is it a big/painful job?

You have an SE, right? No problems swapping mirrors, as long as they are from another SE...not LE (due to memory function...different harness/conn's). Post in the buy/sell forum that you want to swap with someone...lots of people have swapped BT for standard mirrors and visa versa.
