Question Street Scene Mesh Main Grill - BLACK?

Where can I find the "Black" Street Scene Mesh Main Grills? All I can find is the chrome or silver ones?

- attached pict of the inserts I'm looking for.

That's actually not a street scene grill. It's made by Grillcraft.

I bought mine from here..... http://www.usspeedonline.com/page/U/PROD/GC-NIS1550

Hope that helps.

That looks good! How does the grill attach? And does it go over, or in place of the old one?

Thanks.

Thanks! This grill probably isn't really for the weak hearted. lol You have to cut out the OEM mesh in the center part of the grill. I actually cut out all three openings cuz I didn't like being able to see the stock grill behind it. The grills have tabs built onto them and you use metal clips that slip over the inside edge of the OEM grill surround and then the grillcraft screws into them. It's a very high quality piece and attaches very securely. I'm really happy with it. It's defenitly a little more involved than the ones you just slap on and zip tie. Does that make sense? It's kinda hard to describe it without making it sound worse than it is.

I remember seeing a Street Scene "black chrome" grill on their site a while back, but at that time they weren't offering it for the Titan....don't know about now. I like that Grillcraft one too...nice.

Yea, the grillcraft mesh is my favorite. I just can't see spending $300 for it. For $100-$150 I'd probably buy one. I even found a metal sales business in Baltimore that carries what looks like the same type expanded metal. I was considering making my own. I may still do it when I get time.

That grill is sweet...so you say its pretty sturdy ...so if a 300 plus pound friend of mine leaned up against it...it wouldnt dent in ? I wouldnt mind cutting out the honeycomb stock grill as long as it is a strong installation. Also...has the finish held up good ?

" Installation varies with each installation and all grilles will come with step by step installation instructions. " Wonder what they mean by Installation varies ?
