I just got the Mr. Grille 3 piece upper and 1 piece lower grille overlay kit and I have numerous stupid questions. (and yes, I have done a search already)
1. Just how, exactly do you get the upper stock grille off?? ( I see clips and I see these two little plastic panels that pop off on top of the stock grill, do these mean anything?) Not sure exactly how to get this thing off without breaking $hit.
2. I am guessing that you have to take the upper stock grille off and install the lower "bumper" grille insert FIRST correct?? ( this thing uses zip ties to connect )
3. HOW do you remove the Nissan badge from the stock upper grille?
4. Do you like the replacement grille better with or without the Nissan badge put back on it ( I guess with double faced tape?) This grille has no "cut-out" for the badge.
I think I know how to attach the new grille to the stock one. But am unsure as to how to UNinstall and REinstall the stock grille........
THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!

Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, you have to take off the little plastic panels off the top of the grille under the hood. Then there are (I think) 8 little flat head screw clips. Turn those a 1/4 turn and slide the clips out from the inside (next to the headlight) give it a good pull and off it comes. Now, to get the emblem off the old grille, I used a hairdryer to heat up the glue and some dental floss to cut in between the emblem and grille and using a sawing motion just work it back and forth and the emblem will pop right off. To get the emblem back on the new grille, get some 3m double back sticky FOAM TAPE. Peel the old tape off the back of the emblem, alcohol or nail polish remover work wonders, using a dremel tool, cut off the two alignment posts, install the new tape, and install the emblem, I aligned mine by counting the vanes from the top to the the bottom, finding the center and then making sure the sides are on the same billet line and BAM!!! You have a killer grille. To reinstall the new grille put the clips on it first, then line it up and pop it on, it only take a little pressure and it will pop into place. Got some pics for ya on another thread. Good Luck.

Enclosed is a copy of grill removal instructions by "Carriage Works". I found it very helpful and simple when I installed my first grill mod. You'd need a wide flat screwdriver. Hope this helps.
Dang, instructions that you can actually see what's in the picture! What a concept! The Grille4U instructions were so dark I could make out what was what.
The two clips on the very ends are the hardest to get at. Take your time.

Also, be careful not to break the little dang clip pieces, I've broken two so far, they are really brittle.
