25% off Invinca-Shield til the end of October

FYI: I just purchased the Deluxe Kit for my SE-R for a total price of $232.75. A savings of almost $75. I have been looking at this kit for a week and just noticed the sale with the discount code "shield". Done deal and an early X-Mas present for my wife. She better love it.

I like the look of the standard kit. Probably looks better than a standard hood shield even though it costs a bit more. My hood is already getting the crap beaten out of it.

I think I'm going to install it myself, but I am going to call around to some local tint places and get some prices. If it isn't terribly expensive (over $70) I will just have them do it. The kit comes with an installation video and I am pretty handy with the VCR remote, so I am confident I have the tools to succeed. *Fingers Crossed*

When you get it I'd be interested in helping with the install so I can see how it's done. I'm in Tucson.

My dealership actually offered this as an "add-on" option and I jumped all over it. It works great, and is guaranteed. I highly recommend it, especially places where snow and sand come into play. You can barely notice it is on, except for the edge of it.

The stuff is great. I've purchased 3 kits from Invinca-Shield. They're a good company to deal with. The cuts are very precise and the fit is perfect.

Here's a thread about the stuff:
color matching hood decal

And here's a small write-up I did:

Good luck with the install.

Yeah I didn't notice it. Wish I had known to look. sound like a good idea!! I'm in need for a hood stone guard or something can't decide which to get.

Well the kit was waiting for me when i got home, so now I know what I will be doing on Saturday. It came well packaged and complete with installation video and some other stuff (haven't opened everything up yet). I may even watch the video tonight.

I'm definitely getting one of these. What is your recommendation on getting it for the chrome pieces as well? I have the chrome grill and not really certain if the film is really needed to protect it. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt, but it is quite a bit less without all the grill pieces and I'm not certain how the film with adhere to the chrome(and its long term staying/cleaning effects).

Thanks in advance,
Jesse

Well my first recommendation is to have it installed by a professional. I thought I was a pretty patient guy, until I hit the 3rd hour of installation and flipped out. Smooth surfaces are a piece of yellow cake with chocolate icing...mmmm. Going around the curves of the bumper is like eating madagascar hissing co_kroaches...vomit.
I still have three pieces to apply on the car, left front bumper, but I am waiting for Saturday to roll around again.

The film will stick to anything as long as the surfaces are prepared properly.

So in short I do like the stuff, but it can be an effort to install it. I can not see any lines on the car where the product is installed when farther than 5'. Would I buy this for my Titan? Hell Yes. Would I install it on my Titan myself? HELL NO!
