KC Winter floor mats

Hi all!

Winter's fast approaching and I'm looking for molded floor mats for my King Cab. I was interested in the WeatherTech mats, but after inquiring, they claim they have no mats for the KC yet, only the CC. Is there really a difference between the two from the front seat to the firewall?

Failing that, is there another molded floor mat comparable to the Weather Tech?

I am in the same boat as you, I see the weathertech ones for CC and don't think there is a diff at all between KC and CC front floors (nissan mat part #s are the same) and would love to get them.

From my very limited exp with husky liners, they are junk. The 2 pair I have seen folded over and creased from the drivers feet coming over the lip when he got in and out of the car. They looked very abused and not nice at all. I should also say that his mats were four years old.

KC and CC are slightly different. As you can see from the signature we have one of each. And Nissan rubber mats for both.
The CC has a raised area on the floor about 5" along/below the base of the driver's seat. This means the rear edge of the drivers side mat has a cut-out i.e. a removable piece of rubber. It's outside the raised edge that goes around the mat - the "dam" that stops water/slush from flowing off the mat onto the carpet. In a KC you leave the piece there, in a CC you remove it. Thats how Nissan can sell one mat for both trucks.
Weathertech's new mat is for the CC so it must have the indent for the floor "bump" that the KC doesn't have. The indent doesn't amount to much - I don't think you'll even notice it. Please understand, I'm just guessing about the WT mat - I've never seen them.
The flaw with the Nissan mats is that they leave the dead pedal (left foot) area completely exposed. Otherwise they're nice quality and very heavy.
I'm thinking of getting us some Nifty Catchall Extreme front mats because of the dead pedal issue. Other posts here say good things about them. I have Nifty Catchall carpeted mats in the front in the CC. A very nice product.
Most postings about Huskies are very positive, too. Grunge311's is one of few negative ones I've seen. He lives closer to the Arctic Circle than me, so I don't doubt he's seen some well used Huskies.
With floor tray type mats - even the Nissan to some extent - you have to lift your boots over the edge, or you'll wreck the mat eventually.

I have Husky Liners in all my trucks, could not be any happier- in fact its the first aftermarket item I buy for my new vehicles. We tend to have harsh winters and adding to that I work out in the elements,my carpets still look brand new.

Heres a link to one of lower prices I've seen. Niftys will fit either truck because of how they're molded. The picture isn't the Titan mat.

I'm thinking the "bump" in the CC is the air duct for the rear passenger footwells.

Unless there is a significant difference in center console width, I can't see why they wouldn't work.

I wonder what the return policy is for Weather Tech...
