Bottom Grille Only

Anyone tried just the bottom grille? Would like to fill that big gap and exposed radiator fan. Thinking upper and lower grilles both may take away from the chrome already on the front of the truck. Would love to see some pictures of one with just the lower grille placed. Thanks! (tried doing a search already, wasn't much help)

Hmmm....

I guess I'm the only person that thinks installing just the bottom bumper grille (billet style) might look okay.

Check em out on eBay. They have some pics there, if anything else... I hope you find some.

I think that the bottom hole is obnoxious and wish they had put the same hex grille in there but since not I'm gonna put an insert in still not sure about the top though.

Lund sells a stainless grille kit that covers the upper grille and lower hole - I installed it for the same reason you talk about. It would just be my luck to have a rock, bird or whatever enter the "mouth" and screw up the radiator or fan! I attached a picture of mine for your info.

I simply removed the plastic lower grill and attached some 1/4" galvanized hardware cloth, then replaced the grill. In other words, the cloth sits between the plastic grill and the radiator. Materials cost me all of $8 for the roll (home improvement store) and took about 20 minutes. I have a bunch left over from the roll to replace if/when it starts rusting. I did tape the ends with duct tape so that the wire from the cloth doesn't scratch the chrome bumper. Looks better than it sounds. Just an idea.

NDTITAN - I like that grill and the price seems very right!!! How was the install? What I can find is very vague and says something about clips. How was it in the summer time with cooling?
Thanks

Update: I went ahead and had a local truck mod shop install a lower bumper grille. Its a polished aluminum billet style grille and I think it looks great in there. Almost factory like- something Nissan should have thought about doing to that ugly lower gap exposing the radiator fan.

Leaving the upper grille alone, I don't think it needs anymore shiny parts. I'll try to get around to getting a digital camera so I can post some pics sooner or later.
