newbie questions

i just got me 05 SE CC in radiant silver.

i'm looking to get rid of all the chrome if possible.

i have debadged the truck so far.

i was wondering if it is possible to take off or replace the chrome shell off the big tow mirrors , perhaps with the black shells off the 06 models?

Also, how do you go about taking the burger off in the rear?

thanks for the input

BTW i'm looking to switch my SE grill, front bumper and door handles for the XE parts.

The cheapest way to get rid of your chrome bumper and grill is to trade with a member who have an XE but want to upgrade to chrome. The burger in the rear is held on by double sided tape (there will be two small hole once you take the burger off).

Haben Sie Spaß in Ihrem neuen Lastwagen!

If you're going for the black out look, there are also some headlight covers that look good as well.

If you can't part out your mirrors, you could certainly give 'em a new coat of paint!

Welcome aboard!

thanks for the warm welcome,

about painting the chrome, i read that it doesn't work as well.

maybe i'll wait until someone with a 06 SE wants the chrome tow mirrors.

this is my first "non-german" vehicle, i actually traded my 04 touareg for the nissan.

i loved the vw but i needed a pickup for my business, but compared to all the american trucks, the nissan is the best by far in my opinion.

cheers
