Trucktec oval stainless steel steps?

Anyone have these installed?

Trucktec oval bars on Ebay

I was ready to purchase the Aries Ovals from Trex, but he is out of stock and doesn't know when he is going to get any more.

Edited: Sorry, I pasted the link and url backwards. Should be fixed now.

They look a bit too small to me. I like the larger look of the oem.

Chrome-plated mild steel will do that. Most warranties are 3 year though, so you should be on the phone with someone.

Re: Trucktec oval stainless steel steps?

There out of warranty. There weren't chromed though, they were just coated. I am actually having them recoated this week to match my wheels. I think they will actually all rust like this with no mud flaps, they are basically being sandblasted constantly, and that is where the rust started.

I don't trust SS in the salt either, I have seen a lot of Westin tubes (and others) that are kinda yellow from it.

Re: Trucktec oval stainless steel steps?

better "kind of" yellow the rusted. Westin chrome plated aluminum has a lifetime warranty too though
