Trailer Tow Mirror

I have a trailer tow mirror and someone decided to break the wide view spotter mirror. Nissan tells me that I have to buy the entire mirror. They will not sell the spotter alone. Does anyone have any ideas how I can replace the spotter without buying the hole mirrow. The cost is $450.00

SLTitan... I had to replace one of my BT mirrors - got it from 247nissanparts.com for something like 153 bucks - did the install myself - took about an hour. I recommend going this route.
