chrome tailgate cover

Has anybody added the chrome tailgate cover (with adhesive tape) and didn't like it afterward? Does it look cheap? How has it held up in bad weather or heat? What about the brake light covers that come with the third tailight as a package on ebay? Were you satisfied with those? Just got my 2005 Titan Se a few weeks ago and want to start adding stuff. Hoping Titan veterans could offer some advice.
Also, anybody added exhaust tip, what type?

I've had mine on for about 3 months. No issues with weather so far. If you like chrome go for it!

I put mine on a while back and no problems so far. I can't imaging my Titan without it now.
