Do not buy these headlights!!! Yuk!

I went onto ebay looking for a new look to go with my new chrome billet grille... So I emailed "nightriderz06" on ebay asking him advice. I told him that I was looking for the new "blue" look, however, and I quote, "I drive a truck. Blue looks good on cars, but I want a crisp white with a blueish touch." He told me that he had what I was looking for. Send $54.99 and he will send me MATCHING 893, 9005 and 9005 bulbs. So I did. Got them today.. Installed. GREEN!!!! They are GREEN!! No less, the light is about HALF of what my stock bulbs projected!! UGLY and CRAPPY!

This is what I bought:
Same as Ebay item: 8015874711
Title: Blue 9006 Xenon HID Headlights 04-05 Nissan Titan 85K

Don't buy it!

So I ran down to wal-mart and got some silverstars.... And they are PERFECT and exactly what I wanted in the first place. Right now I am trying to get a refund for my green headlights and will replace my fogs and highbeams with silverstars too. Anyone who has questions, GO WITH SILVERSTARS! Great lighting, perfect crisp color.

Well at least they look good in the package. Maybe you should just nail them to the livingroom wall so you can show off that pretty package!

Re: Do not buy these headlights!!! Yuk!

Lesson learned. Dont buy cheap E-Bay bulbs. PIAA or Silverstar are the way to go. The rest is crap.

*edit* I just looked at the package better. It says lifetime warranty. Lifetime warranty on headlight bulbs? LOL.

Re: Do not buy these headlights!!! Yuk!

The 6000K JDM HID low beam replacements on Ebay will make you happy. The stupid bulbs that say "HID" and come w/o ballast are not actually HID. The HID use a ballast to produce very high voltage. Check the thread by Elbo for pictures of what real HID replacements look like. I have silver stars in the highs & fogs.
