Bull Bar ?

Anybody know who makes a bull bar that has tow hooks on them, since i have to remove mine? I looked at westins but you have to remove factory hooks and skid plate the skid plate isn't a great concern but i would like to have my tow hooks. I have a 2004 KC w/ offroad. Thanks and any help is appreciated.

Re: Bull Bar ?

I don't believe that anyone makes them. Nissan's brush guard has integrated tow hooks, but that's the closest.

I have the Westin and with a minor mod, was able to leave the factory skid plate and install the Westin plate as well. Looks and works great.

After looking at the connection point close, it shouldn't be too hard to make a custom bracket that would allow installing tow hooks with the Westin. Some 3/8" plate steel should work just fine.

I'm either going to do this or wait for a winch mount brush guard. That would be my first choice, but due to the mounting points and small, rectangular bumper shroud opening, it will be tough. Warn and other manufacturers looked in to it, and abandoned the idea.

My guess is that to connect well would require modifying the shroud, which few would want to do.

I'll just keep waiting and hoping.

Re: Bull Bar ?

Which company were you talking about that made the winch bumper? I am have been looking for one for a while but am not interested in the Kennesaw Mt. one or the 4x4parts.com one.
