Ive been asked to take pics of this bulb or get what kind of bulb it is...well here are some pics...I took off my over console to take pics and see to help u guys out...the ones who want to know...Im off from work till Jan 2 so what the heck... well HERE THEY ARE...
I honestly dont know...it says its a 2V I guess 2 volt...so as long as its a 2 volt LED or bulb...the connections are weird though...Im thinkin ur gonna have to solder for it to work...
The voltage is important. I thought I saw that the mood light is connected to the dimmer, so I am not sure if a LED would work. I would suggest putting a meter on the leads going to the bulb and reading the voltage with the dimmer in different positions. This should be able to determine if the voltage changes with the dimmer. If it does, then a LED may not work.

Actually, the 12v LED lights are just 3v ones with a resistor attached. They might work, but be careful not to over stress the electrical system. I bought the LED tail lights for my FERD and every time I hooked up my trailer I blew the fuse for my tail lights. I put the regular bulbs back in and it was good again. I honestly don't see the advantage of a LED in this application. It's not going to get wet (hopefully), or be subjected to huge amounts of vibration. I'd just look for a brighter incandescent bulb and make the hole bigger. Just my .02

I agree with you but LED's do have there pluses here:
# The pattern of light from LEDs is more directional and permits the light to be concentrated where desired with less stray light.
# They never need replacement.
# You can match the orange color of the interior lighting perfectly
And there are 2 volt LEDs!
And here is a good website for calculating what is needed:
seems like to much work just to put a colored bulb in there. If someone finds a easy way and shares then I'll do it. Thanks again pi3 for the pics and info.
