Question Remote Start Remote question

If you have an aftermarket, range enhanced, remote start that uses a supplied remote control do the factory remotes still unlock the doors? I ask because I like having 2 sets keys/remotes and some of the remote start kits come with only one controller. I could live with that provided the OEM remote will still open the doors. Thanks

Mine does. I use the factory remote in the summer (window down is nice) and my remote start remote in the winter...

Re: Remote Start Remote question

yes, they will work concurrently. your OEM fob controls the original keyless entry system. the the remote for the aftermarket remote start tells the remote start to pulse the door unlock wire on its own.
