Chrome Tow Hooks Installed

Since my Titan didn't come with hooks, I decided to add them myself. I found a good deal on a chromed pair off of Ebay. I really didn't care if they were chrome or not, but these were actually cheaper than the OEM black ones. I don't off road (4x2) but these give me a little peace of mind if I should ever get stuck. I got the bolts from the local dealership and installed with a little thread lock.

Well I've been meaning to do this a long time, but I just recently found them for a decent price, but possibly moving to CO was an incentive.

I think I'm the only person in this town with a wreath on my truck. I picked up the tradition while living in Texas, where everyone drives trucks and every truck has a wreath on it for Christmas. I'm trying to spread it to east of the Mississippi.

Re: Chrome Tow Hooks Installed

Hooks look nice, they are very useful to have!

P.S. Your truck is the first one I have seen this season with a wreath on it!

Re: Chrome Tow Hooks Installed

I do go off-road sometimes and realized it would be dumb of me NOT to have a set to hook a snatch strap to...
Got mine for $50 w/bolts. Factory black, no sissy chrome for me

You can't beat that price unless you buy them off another member.

Are they OEMs that were chromed? Are they as strong as OEM? I have used and will use mine and don't want them to fail.

They are OEMs that have been chromed.

Thumbs up Re: Chrome Tow Hooks Installed

Those look great! I've been wanting to buy a set myself.

Do they come with bolts, or are they already in the frame?

No bolts included. I got them from the dealer, for about $6 total.
