Vulite LED taillights installed ** pics **
$299 shipped. i think it's worth just about that much. i don't think i'd pay anymore than that.
The finish on the outside looks great and i just love the look of LEDs. these have discrete LEDs with parabolic reflectors just like the G35's. there are 4 columns of 6 LEDs for a total of 24. the outer 6 LEDs illuminate light bars that light up the side of the taillight for a very cool look. I give the fit and finish of the exterior an A-. it looks better than the factory and fits almost as well. I give the finish of the backside (the side no one will ever see besides you) a B. it doesn't look as nice as the OEM taillights and it is missing the tailgate lights. i am going to fabricate some tailgate lights just because i think it will be a cool project. here are some pics before installation

Never seen those before. Overall I like it. Too bad it doesnt have the tailgate light incorporated in it. I think less LEDs maybe 16 would look better.

I like em...hoepfully theyll drop in price and maybe Ill get em...seeing how I havent had my tailight chrome covers for too long and itd be a waste to get em and not use the chrome covers anymore...nice
maybe soem side shots so see how it looks...

thanks for the compliments guys. i think this is the best looking taillight out there. if anyone is looking for a cool look or considering installing different taillights... spend the extra money and get these.
i'm planning on modifying the lights so that each LED can be separately controlled by a microcontroller. that way i can make it have strobing effects and other cool looks (i.e. knight rider, an arrow, etc.). i hope to start this in the next couple of months.
