Ok Thanks, I got it now CTTItan, and yes Im still a bit unsure on the doorlock modules as the one post says you can damage your doorlock module by tapping it at the BCM and not tapping it at the door itself.
Also then being that the Purple wire is not used, im not so sure where and how I go about using the 2nd starter wire from the main Nissan plug and where it goes on my DEI unit? Do I need that relay like LoudTitan did or, what, I read a bunch of debate a few pages back if it was actually need or not? Argghhh... Im getting there.. thanks again.!

titanbry, whered u get ur alarm unit...and there is no way u can mess up the unit by getting the doorlock pulses through the wires of the BCM...if anything u will get less voltage not more but the amount of voltage it throws out at that particular point is what u need so the unit can register the signal...
in DEIs actual print out they use for finding wires it gives u those wires as well, the purple and green and the location to find is at the BCM
Ok yeh I see where it says lock motor and unlock motor in DEI's print out for the purple and green, so I guess then Ill use this for the lock and unlock. I got the DEI unit at circuit city, it is the model 561r. It is remote start only, no alarm etc, just start.
Cttitan from your post i see exactly what you are saying, so im not gonna mess with the whole 2nd starter wire. Im trying to keep things as simple as possible :-)

Ahhh Im so close, I just cant find the Lock/Unlock Motor wire(s), Under the printout on page 1 of thsi thread it says Purple and Green wire...somthing like pin 59 and somthing? I cant find these 2 wires, there are a few places this could be at the modules right of the steering column... blah... other than that Im ready to go! ??
hehe...I asked that question when installing my unit...the tech who helped me said.." alright to begin, u need to know how door locks work..." In our trucks their are a lot of relays, resistors, and such and power gets cut down from the switch down till when it gets into the cab SO u wont get a reliable 6-12V feed if u tap into the same wire somewhere down the line...U can look up how our truck is setup or how door locks work and figure it out more but thats the best I can do right now, Im just waking up...Hope that helps any though and if not maybe someone else can chime in...
I wanted to know why you couldn't tap the door lock triggers under the dash instead of inside the door.
I asked this a while back and your reply was (read above quote) Has your opinion changed about using the wires in the BCM instead of in the drivers door as per your more recent posts? I still want to install the DEI 561T and need to clarify a few things. Hope you can set me staight in this area.
Thanks
Clint

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
Well I had thought that it would in fact be easier to do so, but I was just informed that the wires at the BCM are the door lock/unlock motor wires and not actaully the same as the one in the door lock module in the door...... I believe I'm reading it right. So if you use the ones at the BCM the actual lock/unlock motors you require adding in additional relays etc....... So Im calling it a night for now, and unless there are any new responses, Tommorow I will take the door panel off and be safe and tap them at the door like reccomended early in this thread. Phew!
Also I didnt post about that, it was Pi3yeargrad that was talkikng about the Door/BCM issues, I have been more of a questioner in this post haha!

I have never changed what I said...I said to grab out of the BCM there is no need to grab at door...if I said that wrong before Im sorry but GRAB FROM BCM
"lol...those are the 2 easiest wires to find...ok look...theyre coming out of the black box...the BCM...
if ur under the dash looking up (facing the seats) itll be up to ur middle/left look for the black box...I believe their are 2 clips going into that box...if Im not mistaken its been a while the 2 wires will be coming out of the same clip though...use ur multimeter and probe the wires...click lock and unlock on the purple and green wires and if u get a current thats them...
touch the wires with the red (of multimeter) and touch the black on any ground
and dont tell me ur doing this without a multimeter..."
I have no idea why u guys would want to grab the wires from the doors but good luck to u
ALSO u will not need a relay...12 volts are supplied to the purple and green wires (lock and unlock) and thats what the 561T has to sense either 2 pulses or 3 pulses (whatever u set the 561 to read) in order to start the truck

Ok cool, and so that should be the same for 561r also right? I thought i read about 2/3 pulses in the manual which is in the truck as of now.
pie - oh, i made a huge mistake. he's SENSING the door lock/unlock for remote start activation. he's not finding the wire to lock/unlock the truck. i didn't realize he was hooking up a remote start that uses the factory fob for remote start. you are right.
titanbry04 - i'm sorry, dude. i made a mistake because i didn't realize which unit you were using. you can still use my PDF that i sent you to tap into those wires for sensing (not triggering).
ok so thats clear now...anymore questions...just post
