Need Tonneau Cover Advice

I am looking for a rollup tonneau cover that will fit a 04 King cab WITH Bed Rails and Utilitrack. I really like the Pace Edwards models but they say none will fit with the Bed Rails. Any advice?

Re: Need Tonneau Cover Advice

Retrax makes a very good one. I recently bought one from them directly and it is very nice and works as advertised. Very high quality and strong aluminum rails and other components with excellent fit and finish. It arrived to my door here in SoCal within four days of me placing the order over the phone.

I believe I spoke with Randy at Retrax for the purchase. It works fine with the Utilitrack system with either the bed extender or sliding seperator. Just make sure you tell them exactly the setup you have. You simply add a few washers under each knob to gain the clearance you need so you don't scrape your knuckles loosening or tightening the knobs.

Two very nice features about the Retrax in my opinion. It locks at any place along the rail and not just at set places, and you can open and close the tail gate without having to mess with the Retrax. This sort of makes your truck bed into a giant trunk.

Regards,

John

That is why I didn't get the bed rail as an option on my truck. I knew that I wanted the rollup bed cover more than the utility package. You will have to give up one of the two. Sorry.

I have the Advance Cover, it's hard but fold up for bed space. If I need the whole bed I can remove it in about a minute by myself. It's lockable and keep water out pretty good.
smschulz did you ever get that Zoomers tip on?

Re: Need Tonneau Cover Advice

I have the Lorado low profile roll up cover. If I mounted it using the utilitracks it would have interfeared so I hard mou8nted it with screws into the bed rail. The cover looks and works great.
