Anyone have a pic of their truck with these bars. How was installation, and how have they held up? These seem like a great deal for $189. Anyone input, or opinions, on these bars would be great.
I've had them since last Dec with no complaints yet. They look great, with the only exception being the plastic "caps" over each end look pretty cheap. These turn in to the truck, so you can't see them, but just in case that's a concern for you. The biggest issue is installation. The website made it sound like you slap them on in 5 mins. The body mount bolts need to come off and go back on with the new brackets for the steprails. Just be ready for it. All in all, I'm very happy with them-will post pic later.
Thanks for the input. I am looking forward to the pic. I'd really like to see how these bars look on the vehicle. I am also impressed that they held up for a period of time without problems. I know that is not a long time, but at least they have been tested.
I love mine. They were easy to install and they look good after a year on the truck. Good as in they've taken a beating but they wear well. For some reason I can't upload, but here's a link to mine.
with any luck i'll be getting these for Christmas from the wife. I figure they'll hold up well, but may need to be polished more often to keep the shine. Is my assumption correct?
Mine are most likely going to be a X-mas present as well. Even if they do need to be polished a little more than usual, I think it is well worth the fact that we don't have to worry about them rusting out.
anyone have the black powdercoated ones they make or anything to report on how sturdy the powder coated ones are?

Mine are shiny as hell like chrome but I love knowing that they won't rust and they shouldn't chip like chrome sometimes does. I just wash them down with the rest of the truck and they sparkle nice and purdy.

with a bunch of stuff on it.
Hey, have any of you guys put these bars on a king cab. I'm gonna order 2 sets (1 for my dad, 1 for me) but I want to make sure they are specific for a king cab. The pics of the crew cab looked awesome. Any help would be great. Also, how long did it take for shipping?
Hey, I bought my bars in May. Ti took about 2 weeks to receive the final bars. UPS bent one of the bars so I would advise you to check them thoroughly. The guys at DOS were cool about everything and were great on the phone. I would recommend that you have a buddy there to help you out while installing the bars. I used an air/impact wrench and breaker bar to break the body mount bolts. I love my bars and turtle wax has some metal polish that really makes them shine! Good Luck and let me know if you need any advice!
THanks alot. I'm gonna order them today or tomorrow, hopefully in time for Christmas. I may have some questions for ya when I get them once I try to put 'em on. Thanks again
