Rubber Bed mat Bed rug

I got a rubber bed mat for the truck to save the dogs claws from getting stuck in the utilitrack. It fit nice but didn't have the clean finished look.
Well while surfing craigslist I found a place giving free carpeting away so I went to get some to replace the one from my flooded basement and they had a small piece of this industrial rubber backed berber carpet in a black grey speckle. Well this stuff is so HD that I probably don't need the bed mat any more I used it as a template and got a real nice clean fit.
Enough rambling

What do you think??

I also cut a piece and screwed it to the tailgate

Re: Rubber Bed mat Bed rug

Had a rubber bed mat in my 98 Dakota. It did what I needed it for. However, it had a tendency to try to fly away at speed. Eventually mounted a compact pickup toolbox (black plastic) to the bed floor to pin it down. The install left the top of the toolbox level with the top of the bedside. The toolbox was barely noticeable at a distance.
