Thumbs up Bought the Nissan tool box

I wasn't going to spring for it but I got a deal on it. $399.00 is a good price! I really like the black diamond plate. Also knowing it's secured on 3 sides in the utilitrack makes me happy!!! Anyone else go for it?

Re: Bought the Nissan tool box

Is it big enough to put luggage in (not just carry-on bags)? Can you post the internal main dimensions?

Re: Bought the Nissan tool box

I had heard that the lock on the box was a little skimpy, any truth to this? Would you feel safe leaving a nice set of tools in it?

I'll echo the request for the pics and the location of where you got that price.

Good work!

Re: Bought the Nissan tool box

Not knocking, but some people put more than 200lbs in their toolbox, the price and weight limitations scared me away from it. I know, it DOES look cool on the tracks and slides, but.......

Re: Bought the Nissan tool box

I have a bed cover on my Titan so the oem toolbox that came with the truck I hardly used. I am selling if anyone is interested for $300. They are weatherproof and big enough for a pro set of golf clubs. Email me at ebtate@yahoo.com if interested.

Re: Bought the Nissan tool box

I've had my truck box since I bought the truck Sept. '04. It is in great shape but needs graphite on the hinge ever now in then or it squeeks very loud. I don't carry anything heavy in it, groceries, light tools, cooler, luggage. The lock is not great but I don't think I've ever seen a lock that would keep a determined person from getting in if they wanted to. The box is easy to remove if I need the whole bed. I paid $500, a bit steep, but I like it.

I flew from La Guardia to Dulles the other day. The parking shuttle drops me off at the bus stop and I walk over a few rows to where my truck is parked. WTF, my truck box is gone. For two seconds I'm very very pi$$ed off. Then I noticed it wasn't my truck. I was actually parked a few spaces away. I saw the first Red Brawn CC from the bus stop and made a beeline for it. My wifes says I get pi$$ed off to easy. She may be right...nah.
