Dual Exhaust Ques.

I just had dual exhaust installed on my '05 Titan. It's not a complete system just a Flowmaster & the pipes after the cat. converter. I now have a vibration in the floorboard when going down the road. Any ideas about what may have caused this? I haven't had a chance to take it back to the muffler shop yet so I 'm hoping some of you guys may know something.
Thanks

Mine comes out after the catalytic converter.

Hey Glow, I see you're from Rome. I've spent some time up there.

I probably won't. I was a pilot for a company called Landcare Aviation out at Oneida Co. airport but now have another gig back home in GA. The company had a house right in the middle of Rome called the "pilot house" that we would stay in when we were in town. I def. had some good times up there.

Re: Dual Exhaust Ques.

Make sure everything is isolated in some sort of rubber bushing at the hanger. ALL Flomasters, no matter what vehicle, gives a bad drone sound between 1800 and 2300 rpm. Thats probably what you 'vibration' noise is.

Re: Dual Exhaust Ques.

Thanks for the input. I'll crawl underneath it & look for rubber bushings.

I get a very light drone but no "vibration"...I got a 40 series...

Re: Dual Exhaust Ques.

Sound is a series of vibrations, so it would be safe to conclude that more sound would be equal to more vibration......or not.
