Looks tight! but then I'm partial to Galaxy Black....

That center tailgate mod you have there, is that a lexan piece like the taillights or is it painted?

DOH! Ya know, I wasn't trying to be funny there.... I just hope someday, I'll figure out what I mean before I say anything... It's just that there's not always time to run through it in my head first.

Re: Debadged The Tailgate Bib

I'm also thinking about taking the plastic cover off the inside of the tailgate and have it sprayed with Line-X or a similar liner to match the inside of my bed. That plastic cover is one slick SOB when you're trying to climb in the bed and the tailgates wet.

Body shop did while I was getting some repair work done. They used epoxy to fill the holes.

I don't know how the line-X will will do on plastic but you can just take that piece off and it is metal underneath. I don't think you get the plastic without the utility bed as Marc here had his bed line-xed and he didn't have the tailgate protector unless he just took it off??? looked good with out it and I remember someone here posting that they did just what you're think about.

Mine came with the drop in liner, and it actually had the piece on the tailgate. But, like Sean said...I had the entire bed Line-X'd. The bed also had the plastic protectors along the tailgate and sides. I had the option of having the Line X sprayed over the side, and the plastic covers removed, or as I left it, with the on and Line X just coming up to that point.
