Volant Exhaust Install
Hey all
Just got my Volant stainless and very shiny exhaust installed. Took us 2 hours to do. Very basic, with the stock stuff coming off in a snap. The only tricky part is they include a plate, and the first hanger closest to the Y pipe gets fitted above it. Over all I think the tubing is great. The welds are spectacular. However they include clamps to hold it all in place. I hate these. Most of the time we spent was putting the truck up and down on the lift looking for leaks. Air tools are very much recomended. The looks of the systems installed is great. Very shiny and pollished. The tip is very taistfull. The sound is almost un-noticable at idle. However when you step on it the truck sounds like it has a small block chevy in it. Very nice sound. I will post pics and some sort of sound clip later. However if you are looking of a nice, not too loud system, this is one to consider. Scott

And i didnt get that i guess. Mine seems to be fine without it but I still want to call Volant and let them know I was disappointed in their shipping and packaging. Otherwise I love the look and sound of mine.

Ya... There is a small plate that hte hanger sits on to move it back about 5". I also like the looks and sound of mine. Very mellow. The packaging for mine was like Ft. Knox.

the sound, quality and overall expierence with the volant exhaust was great!! i was just trying different exhaust and ended up taking it off......to this date i wish i would have kept it......no ses lights on my install of the volant
