Road armor bumper

For those of you interested in a winch bumper I sent an email to http://www.roadarmor.com/ra3/index.html and they responded with this. I can't wait this is the only one IMO that looks good.(We aren't making any bumpers for a Nissan right now but we will be
making
one in about 4 weeks. So keep checking back with us.
Thank you

Re: Road armor bumper

I've been bugging them for a year. They've had the titan on their price list for all that time. I'm waiting.

Re: Road armor bumper

hey just for the heck of it i just checked www.buckstop.biz and noticed that they have a titan bumper coming soon. for those who like "TRUCKS!" on spike tv. this is the bumper that he had on his "little red wagon" dodge truck.

Re: Road armor bumper

I'll believe it when I see it. We've been promised "coming soon" and "check back in a month" from so many vendors for good off road parts so often I don't believe any of them, other than Kennesaw Mountain. The rest of them have got to be up the three packs a day for all the smoke they're blowing!

The price was "coming soon" which is much cheaper than "TBA" or "check back"
Just checked myself. They broke the pricing down by maker recently. It used to be everything on one page.

I like the Kennesaw too. Looks great and the price isn't bad.

Re: Road armor bumper

I'd be into a bumper like this. Looks like it will actually protect the front end.

Re: Road armor bumper

just got email today from buckstop. the said eight weeks into production. this bumper is so much better than ken mtn. i love how the welds are clean and the edges are rounded. and the rear bumpers are sweet. to me the road armors look like you have alot of thinner sheets of metal to create designs, how much damage could that be in a mild collision. if i'm gonna spend that much on a bumper, i hope it could at least hold its own.

Re: Road armor bumper

Nice bumpers but when it's all said and done, I wonder how many people will fork out $1500 for a bumper, plus a couple more hundred for shipping, you'll be looking at $2k for a bumper. Then if you add a winch, that's another $1k or close to it!

That's some serious disposable income!

Re: Road armor bumper

i know, it seems like the only people who can afford those prices are the ones who have the budget to build show trucks

so for the price, i was kinda considering the ken mtn bumper but it seemed kinda plain jane. and the grill guards seemed a little farmer john.

i just looked at the sight again, and come across a new option to their bumper in wich i can still use the lights i have now without haveing to relocate the wires.

been getting tired of my prerunner bumper

Re: Road armor bumper

Regarding the Kennesaw Bumper, you cannot re-use your OEM fog lights so if you want the fog light option, you have to buy their lights (I think it's about $110 or something like that).

BTW - that's a nice light mount on top of the bumper in your picture.

Here's a slight variation of the Kennesaw bumper with the front mounted receiver hitch, and tow tabs on mine.
