Info on King Cab Version
"Hi Puv,
Thank you for the vote of confidence. It is greatly appreciated.
The best timing estimate we can provide for the Nissan TITAN King Cab is hopefully around "middle of 2006." In regards to the Nissan TITAN King Cab (and all other new cover model developments), we no longer give firm development "ready" estimates because if we missed the date, the poor consumer gets real upset when the cover isn't ready and we get called on it. When you multiply that times a couple of hundred calls and emails, we have just created our own "butt kicking" for ourselves that upsets the customer, and than ties up a bunch of staff to respond to the wave of calls and emails. In short, giving an exact development timing serves no purpose. As you might imagine, if we develop the cover exactly on time, this is new problem, but as we learned from couple of new model cover developments, some issues made their development later than we expected. As you might imagine, we don't enjoy "self inflicted" pain, so we no longer give out firm development dates. If anyone quotes a customer a firm date...then "buyer beware" as that information is only of any value when an actual and official "first ship date" has been determined by the development team at the factory level.
The best way for customers to get the first covers off the assembly line for a new model is to email us through our website as we maintain a "First Notify List" and will notify the customers by email as soon as the actual "first ship date" is released. We take these waiting lists very seriously, for instance...with the first TITAN cover, we had over 300 people on the waiting list get their cover immediately after it was available.
Hopefully this helps. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
Mark "
